Chinese chinese chinese, I so love chinese :D

Seriously, I think Deyi is so slack. Chinese intensive was quite useless, nothing really got into our heads. We had so little time to practise on many things. And extra lessons for Sec4s during the holidays is so little. I think they just want us to be independent, hoping we'd be that smart enough to do the school proud.

So I had my own private Chinese tuition from Ms Chen. Her school is like so diligent la, unlike ours. Their Chinese intensive lasted for 3 weeks and they were provided with many relevant notes. And their whole holiday is almost booked with lessons everyday (it seems like a bad thing, but good in another sense that they're at least studying everyday).

Chen Yen Ju : Thanks alot alot alot girl! You really helped me alot, love :D And I'd keep my word, B3 and above - meal is on me. Not $2 beehoon of course, haha.

Finally got back results. They were okkkkaaayy, standard not up for SAJC yet. Was just really disappointed with my Humans, esp SS. I actually spent like 80% of my time studying for Humans, and it was actually my worst paper. I thought I would score for my SS and do badly for my Geo (because I didn't do the 5marks qns), but it turned out the other way. I flunked my SS, 20/50.

Oh well, it's all over. Seems like spending alot of time on a subject does not mean you will score for it.

I've been into Mario craze for the past few days, all because of Sng Yi Ling. However, I cant get passed World 1 Stage 4 & World 5 Stage 1. So if anyone is interested to take up the challenge, just ask the game from me ya? :D

FOUR MORE DAYS! :D

Wednesday, May 24

Deyi's own holiday today. However, stayed at home the whole day, planning to study ALOT on Chinese, but I failed. Managed to only study Sec3 shou ce and 25 chen yu.

In the end, met up with Jane & Yam for dinner at J8 Pastamania. I struggled alot trying to finish one plate of that Funghi thingy. Low then met us, and we went walking around the whole J8. I actually sacrificed my American Idol for them k. Okay, so as usual we were being the chidish us.

-Debbie was re-enacting the whole scene of Poseidon using the garlic bread, tabasco & spoon. I wouldnt wanna elaborate.
-Jane & I played the playground for awhile till the guard shoo-ed us away "Only kids are allowed". The slide is scary alright, but fun.
-Debbie was crazy, so Jane & I (again) ran away from her and walked one big round around J8, in the end they didnt follow us, but was just waiting there for us.
-We went into all the Neoprint machines, taking pictures using handphone. Neoprints craze - those were the old days.. Haha.

Chinese Os is in FOUR DAYS time. I really cant wait for that day to come. After the papers, I can play as much as I want! I miss town & Sentosa! I miss shopping, swimming, blading & simply just slacking around! Just four more days. :D

So we had inter-house yesterday and our house won SECOND for netball! :D Not all of the participants came, but I guess we all did what we could. And it was really tiring, after weeks of no training. It was a sweaty and hot morning, but we all had fun together.

Chinese intensive is like SO fun la. Just listening and doing chinese for the whole entire day today. Got back my Chinese, and for the first time in my whole secondary school life - I got a B4. I don't know whether it's just pure luck, but I just hope that I'd be that lucky to get that grade, or even better for O's (which is next monday!).

Visited dearest bbbbeeevvveeerrrrllyyy who feels so happy to sprain her ankle for the first time! :D Played 'Pay Day' which made me the winner & Yam the loser! Hahahah! I think we were like small kids while playing the game, screaming and hoping that the dice would spin to our number.

Okay, I think I should really stop slacking and STUDY. CHINESE O'S IS IN SIX DAYS TIME? AND I'M STILL PLAYING BOARD GAMES? Hahahah.

Just when I was saying, one more week till I can play all I want. But now comes O's, so - Six more days till I can REALLY play all I want during the 4 weeks June break. PERSERVRE!

持之以恒!只是多了六天! 我一定要考地很好! 金美,你要百折不挠,不要半途而废, 坚持到底地读书, 就会有好的结果! 加油吧!

Exams are finally over! I'm so so so so so so so so happy! :D The past few weeks has been a struggle for me. Studying is like a daily routine to me, and I'm right now free from them all (for awhile) Oh well, there's still Chinese O's the next coming monday.

Exams were overall ooookkkaaayyyy I guess. Did some stupid mistakes which I hope I would not do it again. Like not doing a 5marks qns for Geography on the next page, did an extra qns for Emaths P2.

Oh well, it's over anyway.

Had our 408 gathering yesterday which did not turn out exactly what we have expected. Sorry Xiangwei yea. So we ended up splitted in two groups. Caught "Over the hedge" which is an amusingly funny show, though its only one hour. "Over here, and here, and here, and here, a bigggg one here, ohyes another here.." Hahah. After that, we ended up slacking and rotting around in Heeren. Kancani and I then left to shop by ourselves, at Paragon, Far East, Pacific Plaza, Taka & Wisma.

Met the girls later at ten plus and caught "Poseidon". It was awesomeeeeeee :D I love it alot. All of us were so tired before the show, but got energetic after that. It's really exciting and thrilling, and touching at times. A show worth watching. Cabbed down to Jane's house then to stayover. Watched a bit of Scary Movie 4, and Talking Cock which bore us after awhile. Around 5plus, Jane, Low & I played Sims till we slept. Woke up around 9 and started playing fun games in Ethel's laptop (Marioooo!), then the rest slept & I played Sims2 by myself. Hahaha. Slackedddd, and ate prata for brunch at Yiochukang, and right now I'm at Juliana's house which is just opposite the prata house.

I'm gonna start studying for my Chinese on Monday onwards. I will :D

I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH! :D Now that more and more couples are getting eliminated, the competition is getting tighter and more competitive, which makes the show so exciting! And it's inspiring too! Who knows, I might be a professional dancer in the near future. Haha!

Melody! This girl is really talented and flexible! Well, it's no wonder as she has gone through 10 years of ballet, 10 years of jazz, 12 years of tap, 6 years of modern, 11 years of lyrical dancing.

Craig! This guy is really hot and cute! He's only eighteen, and yet so talented.

His interview:

What are your personal goals in life?
To be the best person I can be and to share my gift of dance.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I don't drink, smoke, and I've never tried any drugs.

If you win, who will you thank first?
God for blessing me with a happy and healthy life.

Talking about dance, I think I'm gonna take up dancing for Harvest event! I'm sure it's gonna be a great experience learning how to dance, and of course dancing for God!

Today, today, I live for one thing, to give You praise! In everything I do, and all my praise goes out to You!

Since its Art Fiesta last week, and I've not posted pictures for a looong time, I shall then add some colours to my blog.

Born to love dance, music & theatre. Am I just musically talented or what?

Chervonne & I, with our great masterpiece behind. Hah!

Young ladies who are ever young at heart.

Mr Zaman's bubbly-blur-handshome-charming-oh-so-cute son!

Just had my Chinese "Prelims", which I'm still unsure whether is it Prelims or Midyear only. Paper 1 was a swing, but i screwed Paper 2 cloze passage. And believe or not, I'm starting to like and appreciate the Chinese Language. I know that sounds wrong, but it's true. Hahahah. It's only frustrating when you can't get the right answers right! Oh well, at least I'm starting to develop this hidden talent deep within me; Chinese :D

24 more days to the end of Chinese O's! I'm awaiting for the exciting and fun month of June! For now, I shall just mug like a nerdy geek and enjoy as much as I want after 29 May.
