Oh heart of mine, why must you stray?
From one so fair you run away
And one more time you have to pay
The heaviness of needless shame

Oh heart of mine, come back home
You've been too long out on your own
And He's been there all along
Watching for you down the road

So come home running
His arms are open wide
His name is Jesus
He understands
He is the answer
You are looking for
So come home running
Just as you are

Oh child of God so dearly loved
And ransomed by the Savior's blood
And called by name, "daughter" and "son"
Wrapped in the robe of righteousness

Come home running - Chris Tomlim :]

5 DAYS JUST PAST LIKE THAT, AND IM SO HAPPY ITS WEEKENDS! :DDDD

Hahaha. I don't hate school. School's fine, the people are nice and everything, but i just dont like the fact that i have soooooo little time to myself during the school days. Coming home at around evening time everyday, and then trying to make the best out of my time doing all that i can.

Anyway, Life concert just ended few hours ago! It was great! Really thank God for all the works that He has done, whether outwardly or inwardly :) And it gives me a warm feeling coming back to SAJC once again, seeing familiar faces (though there are many unfamiliar faces too) and catching up with them. Met a few of my classmates who were in their lovely uniform. Gosh, i miss my class! WHEN ARE WE MEETING UP? /:

So the whole week was just school-home, school-home, except for one day whereby me, lois, charmaine & eunice went to Northpoint supposingly to do work, but ended up hanging around there. :)

I'm gonna spend my weekend PLAYING & ALSO STUDYING! Lots of assignments to be done and notes to read on. Saturday - cellgroup! Sunday - service + guitar course. Weeeee :D

WOOO ! One whole week of school in YJC just passed! It was a really really really draining week for me. School has been ending really late every single day, and we have like maximum 1hr break throughout the whole week. HOW TIRING CAN THAT BE? Perhaps i'm just not used to it yet, cause lessons in SA (though i don't attend most of them:P) end latest 4+, and we have TONS of breaks in btwn them.

Oh yeah. I was talking to Kimberly on Wednesday night on MSN about how are our lives in different schools.. And we started to talk about how much we miss SAJC, esp the people there.. Emo here emo there, and on Thursday morning! We had assembly and they played the SCHOOL SONG! I emo-ed while listening to the song, longing so much that it'd be SAJC school song instead. "up and on, up and on.." Then throughout the whole song, i thought about how life was during the 1st 2 months - splendid :)

Okay, I made YJC sounded like its super terrible. Besides the long school hours, my class is not too bad. They are all really nice people.. Still miss my SA class though, 07A04 <3

I've just organized my scheldue for the next 6 weeks, and i'd be so busy with SCHOOL. I've decided to go for ALL bridging lessons and so, school is gonna end even later. With CCA starting next week onwards, it'd be much worst.
Mon - 5pm
Tues - 6pm
Wed - 330pm
Thurs - 530pm
Fri - 5pm

TIRING TIRING TIRING!

But still, i'm gonna get through this phase of TIREDNESS through God's strength.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"

300th post !
So Friday was a really great day. Met up with Rachel in the morning at Vivo to CHILL (haha!). We seriously had an relaxing time, just slacking & chit-chatting at Pacific Coffee express (our new hangout place!). Naomi then joined us and they had lunch at Carls JR. Went back to PC to chill w/o buying anything, and after 20mins the lady shooed us away. Hahaha.. Went to meet the PSL excos then at J8. :)
Kua & Rhazmie couldnt meet us! So it was only the four of us.. Went to Swensens for earthquake - a huge bowl full of fats indeed. Haha! And then we did something embarrassing! J8 was having some Mr Bean show there, with the mascots. And after the show, kids can actually queue up to take a picture with them & the four of us actually queued up for it! It was soooooo hilarious, with us on the STAGE taking a picture with Mr Bean, Mr Bean's girlfriend, Mr Bean's tenant. Hahaha! Met up with my lovely class then! :D
408 gathering at Marina steamboat! And i was soooooo happy, because 25 of us turned up :D I love my this class of mine LOTS. Really had a great catching up with most of them, after not seeing some of them for MONTHS. I miss them truckloads man! Sadly, we didn't take a class pic! /: Oh well! I still love them so. Hahaha. All of us had a quick dinner though, then we went to play pool. And i'm proud to say that i won Yicheng & almost* won Mengchin. Heh heh.
Stayover at Mich's then! With Eeling. After playing Monopoly for awhile, all of us got tired (esp me), so we slept at 4AM then. Wanted to gym in the early morning, but we all woke up late. So we ate our breakfast, played WORMS & headed back home to change. Met 90 batch for tow huey! Then cellgroup & fellowship.. :D
Monday would be a new start for me! 1st day of school in YJC! Hopefully, i'd get to adapt to YJC soon and enjoy my time there. And and, I HAVE TO SERIOUSLY GET DOWN TO SERIOUS STUDYING! NO MORE SLACKING/PONNING LECTURES&TUTORIALS! FROM MONDAY ONWARDS, I WOULD STUDY & I WILL ! Hahaha! :D

So that post was meant to be posted on Saturday night, but blogger just likes to fail me. Oh well, school has been fine for the past two days. Quite tiring cause we have many lessons everyday and like 1hr break for the whole day only /: And i'm getting quite pressurised by PROMOS alr! Cause our daily work includes 15% of our promos, so i'm really scared. And YJC has one of the highest retainee rate /: I HAVE TO STUDY! SOMEONE MOTIVATE ME PLEASE! I'm even slower than my classmates who didn't attend 1st three months la, cause they went for bridging lessons and i didn't. SA ARRRR, make me slack so much, but gave me so much wonderful memories :) Oh yeah, met up with VITHYA GOPAL after school today and i miss her so much! And she looked so weird in SA uniform! (Hahahaha, i'm just too used to seeing you in Cedar uniform) Haha jk, you looked great :) So much better than YJC's uniform lah. HAHA. :D
STUDY STUDY! :D

"Sorry dear, not approved.."

Darn. This sentence just shot through my heart. My hopes of staying in SA were all gone. I was really upset and sad at first, but soon got to accept the fact that i will no longer be a saint and soon to be a YJCian. /:

I'm sad because I can't be with my SA friends everyday anymore. And going to YJC, I have to adapt to a whole new and different environment again. The people, culture, teachers, BUILDING (i really detest the building/:).. Their orientation really makes me not want to stay, but what to do when I do not have a choice? Oh well, I guess YJC aint gonna be that bad.. I just need some time to get used to YJC, and I guess I'd soon get to like it..

On the brighter side, theres many people in YJC from deyi! :) People like lydia, michelle, marjorie, melissa, peiying, minqi, yuwen, chervonne, joonwei, julia, haoguang.. And I have my SA classmates there too! Sherman, Joash & John. But sadly, they're all gonna be in the same class! How nice of them, oh well. Haha. /:

And by going to YJC, a non-christian school, I'm sure God has even greater plans for me there. I just pray for a fun & enjoyable 2 years together with my YJCians :) Oh yeah, thank God for all the encouragements that He has given me through different people, esp from my cellgroup. Thanks :)

I truly had an enjoyable 2 months in SAJC, esp with my OG1 and 07A04. You guys were really amazing and nice. Though we're all in different schools, let us keep in contact & meet up often ya? Love y'all! :D

Back from Leaders Retreat at JB! Though we were the only 12 people who slept in Dorms which was about 1/10 satisfaction of normal hotel rooms, the whole retreat was still fabulous :D

Last night was the best. The girls decided to move into the guys room which had an adjoining living room, so they gave us one of their room. We actually took 2 mattresses and 10 pillows from our dorm all the way to the guys' room. It was SUPER HILARIOUS. Hahahaha. So we pigged out ALOT, but finishing all our snacks, biscuits, cup noodles.. Played silent heart attack cum truth/truth. Then later on in the late night, a group of us (me, ruth, esther, anna, jayce, mal, jem, ben) played funny games. Ee harrrr, drinking goggles, call-the-person-name, snapjack. We laughed like crazy. :D

Yup, just wanna thank God for all that He has done throughout the retreat! All the rest & fellowship that He has blessed us with, and also for His teachings. :)

P.S.: Elohim just made our own personalised Elohim Calendar at JB! Pictures to be uploaded soon :D

Friday, March 9

So my three days of orientation just ended like that, poof. I HATE YJ ORIENTATION! It's boring like crap! Talks, talks, talks, talks & BORING GAMES. Argggggg. Ask any YJCian from 2nd intake and they will tell you the same thing. B-O-R-I-N-G. No cheers at all, no mass dance, no identity.. And you call that an orientation? Bah.

Anyway, the SA rejects (me, john, sherman & joash) from YJC went down to SA after our 'orientation'. Wanted to crash the disco night, but poor me & john did not have the stamp so we were left outside /: WE WERE SO SAD OKAY. Joash & Sherman got in, but Sherman was sent out cause he was too high-profile alr. Lonely three of us then played bridge with a dummy.

I TRULY MISS SAJC! AND ALL MY FRIENDS THERE /: Just going back there brings back so much memories. Indeed, once a saint always a saint.

After their orientation, a group of us headed down to Cine foodcourt for supper. Slacked till 11+..

13th March - the day whereby i'd know the result of my appeal. ARG. /:

SAJC PAE 07A04 ! <3

I'm gonna miss the whole bunch of you so much! What more can I ask but a fun & awesome class like your? I will never ever forget all the wonderful memories that we've shared together.. From skipping lectures/tutorials to slack in Student Centre to play carrom (our past time), to advancing to playing Bridge at the balcony. And we're like the BEST in PE can, forever thrashing every class that played with us. Hahaha. I simply simply LOVE every single one of you! And I hope that we can all meet up pretty soon ya? Though we're all going seperate ways/schools, may our class spirit never die. 07A04 ROCKS! :D

ONCE A SAINT, ALWAYS A SAINT! :]
